MOTORVELT TOV ("Motorvelt", "we") sells cars, services vehicles, sells parts, rents premises, and conducts market and opinion research. Each activity involves different data. This policy explains them in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and, where applicable, the GDPR.
1. Controller

2. Car buyers and sellers
For test drives we record your name, phone and a copy of your driving licence for the duration of the drive. For sales and trade-ins we process identity documents, tax number, vehicle registration documents and the sale agreement, as required for re-registration of the vehicle with the service centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
3. Service and parts customers
We record your contacts, VIN, registration number, mileage, work performed and parts fitted. This service history supports warranty claims and future repairs.
4. Tenants
For rental of garages and premises we process the tenant's identity or company details, contract, payment history and access key records.
5. Research participants
When you take part in our surveys or interviews, participation is voluntary and based on your consent. We collect your answers and basic demographic information such as age group and district. Contact details are stored separately from answers and deleted once fieldwork is complete. Clients who commission research receive only aggregated, anonymised results. We never use survey answers to offer you cars or services.
6. Information services
Our market reports and price indices are built from anonymised transaction data and publicly available listings. They do not contain personal data of buyers or sellers.
7. Legal grounds
Contract performance, legal obligations (vehicle registration, tax, accounting), legitimate interest (vehicle safety, preventing fraud in test drives), and consent (research participation and marketing messages).
8. Recipients
Ministry of Internal Affairs service centres for vehicle registration, banks and insurers when you finance or insure a car through them, manufacturers for warranty, tax authorities and our IT providers. We do not sell personal data.
9. Retention
- Driving licence copies for test drives: deleted within 7 days.
- Sale documents: as required by tax and vehicle registration law.
- Service history: 5 years after the last visit.
- Research contact details: until the end of fieldwork.
- Lease records: lease term plus 3 years.
10. Your rights
You may access, correct and delete your data (subject to legal retention), restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy and withdraw consent. We reply within 30 days. You may complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or an EU supervisory authority.
